Using art is a great way to “tap in” to your intuition.

I often use the beginning layers of paint to zone out, and listen to the words and feelings that are swirling inside of me.

Without a doubt, I receive a message that I need to hear. Most likely something that I need to remind myself of… and writing it down brings a release from worry and a sense of peace.

In this video, I make a simple background, without care or worry about how it will turn out because that is not my focus. My focus is my need to write – to journal.

Paint drips are a great way to create lines for journaling. Once the paint is dry, I journal what I’m feeling at that moment, and the things that have been weighing on my mind. At the end, I add 2 key words to sum up the message I received.

Trust. Allow.

Trust in how life is always unfolding in the perfect way, at the perfect time. Trust in myself to see it through too.

Allow the journey to unfold. Don’t fight against it, or resist what’s happening. Remember, you are always in control of your reactions.

This is what I needed to hear… maybe you did too?
