I don’t know about you, but January felt like a month of playing catch-up, so I’m starting 2022 in February 😄.
I believe that life is what we choose to make it, and it all starts with intention.
Here’s what I’m bringing in and allowing this year. (I like the word “allow” because it feels more peaceful. It gets me out of a place of resistance and into one of acceptance.)

Trust of the Process
How great would it be to know exactly what to do and which direction to go? Sadly, even when we think we’re on the right path, things don’t always work out the way we want. I’ve learned that trusting things always work out for the best, even if I don’t understand, gives me peace of mind. By allowing things to be how they are, I let go of resistance and can focus on the next step – and having peace of mind is a wonderful place to be.

Grace for My Highs & Lows
I love when I feel inspired and motivated. Those are some of my favorite days, but they’re not my every day. This year I’m allowing myself to welcome the low energy days. I know that motivation returns and productivity awaits. But I recognize that stillness is productive too. Stillness provides me with space to reflect and the chance to re-center where I’m putting my energy. Oftentimes, I need to put more energy into taking care of myself!

Connection with the Ones Who Choose Me
I’ve decided to stop chasing friendships. Instead, I’m choosing the people who are investing their time and energy in me. That being said, I’m always open to re-connecting with old friendships. I know we’re all focused on our own experiences, and some relationships come and go. I don’t blame anyone, but I’m also not going to dwell. I allow myself to move on.

Removal of the Noise
The world is too noisy. Social media can be overwhelming and the news is often depressing. I’m allowing myself to turn away from it all to focus on my immediate world instead. My mental health can only handle so much, so I choose myself – and that means concentrating on what I can control and what truly matters in this moment.

Time For Play
It’s great to have goals and the motivation to achieve them, but I believe we’re here to have a good time. I’m prioritizing what’s fun and interesting to me in my weekly schedule. As I allow playfulness to be part of my life, my mood improves and I feel more peaceful overall. Plus, when I’m happier, so are the people around me!

Abundance of All Things Good & Great
I’m allowing the universe to show me how it gets better than this. Each day I state my gratitude for all that I have and get to experience. I welcome the abundance that’s meant for me and I’m excited for what’s in store!
What are you bringing in this year?
What are you bringing in and allowing this year? Declare it! Make your intentions known by writing them down or sharing them with a trusted person.
Your words are powerful my friend, and stating your intentions makes you much more likely to fulfill them.
Thanks for being part of my journey 💕
