Fearless Spirit Retreat
AN ALL INCLUSIVE IMMERSION
TO PUSH YOURSELF OUT OF YOUR CREATIVE COMFORT ZONE
October 14-17, 2021
Santa Rosa Beach, FL
I believe you are brave
The Fearless Spirit Retreat offers a deeply awakening, intuitive journey in a space of freedom, without judgement or expectations.
The focus is on letting go, connecting to your intuition, being present, and welcoming your unique voice into your creative expression.
The Fearless Spirit Retreat offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to take some time for yourself and find your inner light again. You’ll reconnect with who you are as an individual through art, music-infused movement, nourishing food and deep connections that will inspire your spirit in ways never before imagined!
“I believe that the more you push yourself creatively – the more comfortable you get with being uncomfortable – the braver you become in every aspect of your life. You begin to trust yourself more and know that you’ll figure things out. You start to feel braver and more empowered – more fearless!” – Lulu
What We’ll Do
Creativity is a powerful form of personal expression, and it can be expressed in many ways. Whether it be through art, music, or writing, creativity can show who you are and what matters most to you in life.
Even if you think you’re not creative – think again! Everyone has a unique, creative voice tucked away deep inside just waiting to come out. In our time together, we’ll explore how creativity expresses itself through us – in many ways. This includes:
♦ Art Projects ♦
Experience the beauty of creativity through art projects that are designed with you in mind. You’ll connect to your creative voice and allow it to come out to play in powerful ways.
♦ Guided Meditations ♦
Immerse yourself in guided meditations and visualizations to dive into a world deep within, without judgement and where anything is possible. You’ll uncover what your heart needs to hear by finding your authentic voice and allowing it to guide the way.
♦ Movement ♦
Explore dancing and movement to connect with your body’s energy and rhythm. You’ll practice putting your ego aside and allowing your body the grace to express itself, in a way that feels true to you.
♦ Writing ♦
Embrace writing and journaling as a container for deep introspection and discovery. You’ll give voice to your intuitive wisdom as you find a new way of expressing yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
♦ Sacred Circle ♦
Join in sacred circle with the women who have been called to walk this journey together. We’ll harness the power of women supporting women to celebrate, support, and honor the soul sisters you’re meant to meet.
Workshops at each retreat vary, but the goal is clear – to bravely jump into creative expression of all kinds and to remember that you can do hard things. You are fearless!

MEET YOUR RETREAT GUIDE
I’m Lulu. I’m a painter, dancer, and Life Igniter. I believe we are here to create a life of meaning, and to have fun while doing it! I help women go from wishing, dreaming, and talking about what they want to do, to taking action so they have the self-confidence and courage to pursue their passions and share their light with the world.
I believe that having fun is an essential part of any day, and that when you prioritize joy and gratitude in your life, you’re able to bounce back from harder times much easier.
As a mom of four, I know how important it is to take care of myself so I can show up better for others. I created a business around this mission, offering workshops and retreats for other women who want the same thing that I do – more joy!
When sleeping women wake, mountains move. – Chinese Proverb
Art with Soul
I love combining art with writing. It’s a transformational pairing that heals me at a deep level. I call it Art with Soul. Not only do you learn about making art, but you learn about yourself at the same time! It’s a process like no other, and I can’t wait to show you why I love it.
The best part is that you don’t need have a creative bone in your body to make art. The workshops are designed for beginner and experienced creatives alike. The most important part is that you show up and be fearless in your willingness to try.
Art projects often include mixed media, intuitive painting, assemblage, doodling, writing, and lots of fun techniques. Take a look!
I love art, writing, learning new techniques and having life’s mundane churned up to create a fresh perspective, all alongside other women who want to do the same. This is a tall order and yet Lulu’s retreat fulfilled these desires and more.
I enjoyed a weekend in a beautiful, spacious home with tasty and nourishing meals provided. Through the meditation, intuitive writing and art journal excercises, I unexpectedly found much sought after freedom, love and comfort in an area of life I had remained stuck in. This could only have happened in an atmosphere that felt safe enough to be artistically expressive. There was a perfect balance of feeling relaxed, yet motivated to explore the weekend themes of body, mind and spirit.
Lulu knows how to create a space where women from different generations feel welcomed, valued and understood. I enjoyed the sense of community offered in group circle time, around the meal table or pottering through art supplies during the evening freetime. I also enjoyed reflective time alone, simply sitting in the garden, wondering what the colours of tulips yet to unfold may be, and how these thoughts were symbolic of my life.
I recommend a retreat like the one Lulu provided for any woman who wishes to delve into their life more deeply using artistically expressive means while enjoying a break from the usual demands of life. I arrived back home feeling refreshed and wish the same for other women.
FEATURED GUEST INSTRUCTOR:
In my life’s journey as a Latina woman, I have raised six children and enjoyed careers as a nurse, professional psychotherapist, author, and Hawaiian dance instructor. Each path afforded me the opportunity to grow as a woman mentally, physically and emotionally.
I believe each of us are born with remarkable, inherent gifts that should be nurtured and developed, lest they be lost and/or forgotten. My hope is to help others find and develop their incredible gifts, so that they may live rich, intentional lives.
I know that as we each find our own joy, the positive affects will ripple out to others and help create a better world for everyone.
There are 3 room options available – 2 private and 2 shared. Each suite has its own bathroom and all guests will have their own bed. Shared rooms will have 2 guests total.
*** In order to create a safe space for all involved, and out of respect for the home owner, we require all participants to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This includes the 2 week wait time post vaccination.
Q: What do I need to bring?
~ We want you to feel completely taken care of, which is why we are providing all the materials you’ll need for the workshops. If you have your own favorite art materials, feel free to bring them along. We suggest dressing comfortably, and wearing clothes you won’t mind getting dirty (just in case).
Also please bring any personal toiletries.
Q: What if I have special dietary preferences or restrictions?
~ We will make every effort to accommodate your dietary needs. Please let us know at least 4 weeks prior to the retreat what you require. A grocery store is nearby if you need to supplement what we offer.
Q: What if I can’t make it to the retreat and need to cancel?
~ There are no refunds for the retreat once you register unless we are able to fill your spot. If we fill your spot, there will be a $50 cancellation fee deducted from your refund.
Should we need to postpone the retreat due to weather or other extenuating circumstances, we will contact you about the new dates and give you the option to attend or receive a refund.
Q: What if I am not creative?
~ Being creative is an innate gift that we all possess. You do not need to know how to draw a straight line in order to tap into your creative wisdom. All of the workshops are for novice and experienced creatives alike. We ask that you be brave, show up, and trust that you are in good hands.
Q: Will there be a workshop only option for people who live locally?
~ We feel that immersing yourself into the retreat environment by distancing yourself from your obligations and clearing your calendar is vitally important to the unwinding and tapping-in process. Therefore, we will not be offering a workshop only option at this time.
Q: What are your COVID-19 precautions?
~ In order to create a safe space for all involved, and out of respect for the home owner, we require all participants to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This includes the 2 week wait time post vaccination.

My favorite part of the weekend was the painting. I’m hanging my picture in my townhouse downtown and ordered a large canvas to do an intuitive painting for the main room!
I liked that we did the writing, dancing, and the visionbook. The variety kept me stimulated.
I was initially worried it would be all younger women and I really liked that it was all age groups sharing with each other!
I really liked the casual accepting nature of this workshop. I really felt filled up and left feeling good about myself and others.
